- Starts with a 2-year standard warranty, with the option to extend by up to 4 more years via service-activated extensions
- Hondacare Assistance (roadside support) runs alongside the warranty for the full duration
- Cover includes manufacturer defects across mechanical and electrical components
This warranty is fully transferable if you sell the bike, the warranty applies to all road-registered engine sizes.
Used Honda Motorcycles:
Used bikes are not covered under the 6-year scheme but may be eligible for separate extended guarantees. How to Keep Your Honda Motorcycle Warranty Valid
To make the most of your Honda extended warranty, follow these simple steps:

- Keep a full and up-to-date service record
- Maintain the bike’s road-registered status
If you’re buying a used Honda under warranty, continue the servicing plan on schedule
Transfer Process & Accessory Coverage
Selling your Honda? You can transfer the warranty with the bike, provided:
- You notify Honda within 14 days of the sale
- A £15 admin fee is paid
- The new owner continues with the required servicing

- A 2-year warranty when installed at the time of bike registration
- A 12-month warranty if added later
