The burnished aluminium radiator shrouds have been made more compact, and forward facing, a design cue mirrored by the minimal subframe.

Exhilarating inline four-cylinder engine
Puts out peak power of 107kW @ 10,500rpm and 104Nm torque, with smoothed throttle response for an exciting rush of acceleration.

Throttle By Wire (TBW) control
TBW delivers three default riding modes, STANDARD, RAIN and SPORT, plus 3-level USER customisation of Engine Power, Engine Braking and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC).

Full Showa suspension
The adjustable Showa Separate Function Fork Big Piston (SFF-BP) forks offer high quality control, while the rear shock adjusts for preload and rebound damping and operates through a single-sided swingarm.

Stopping power
Dual, 310mm floating front discs are worked by radial-mount 4-piston calipers; along with ABS, they provide incredible braking force and feel, when you need it in all riding conditions.

Shaped for sound
The 4-2-1 exhaust system closely cradles the engine; above 5,500rpm it emits a deep, raw tone to match the exhilarating acceleration as power builds.

Full beam ahead
All lighting is LED; the first thing you’ll notice is the redesigned headlight with its aluminium bezel and sleek profile.

The CB1000R Black Edition goes further, and darker. Apart from a few machined aluminium details, everything on show is black: the headlight bezel, fly-screen, SFF-BP front fork stanchions, radiator shrouds and airbox covers (with an anodized finish), and 4-2-1 exhaust system. Deep Graphite Black paint adorns the fuel tank and pillion seat cover. You also get a 3-level adjustable quick shifter for crisp, instant gear changes.

TANK BAG KIT
A simple and functional 3L bag tailored to the fuel tank, with stable mounting that does not disturb handling. Includes a clear pocket on the top of the bag to make it possible for easy smartphone storage. Tank bag attachment kit required for installation. A rain cover is included. REAR SEAT BAG
A simple and functional, expandable (15-22L) bag specifically adapted to the tapered shape of the rear seat. Easy attachment and stable mounting when installed with the rear seat bag attachment kit. A rain cover is included. Standard dimensions: 355x365x243mm (W,L,H).

ADJUSTABLE QUICK SHIFTER
The new, 3-level adjustable quick shifter allows instant, full-throttle, clutch-less upshifts and also aids downshifts. The sensitivity of shifting load can be adjusted between soft, medium and hard.

RADIATOR GRILL
Protection from road debris can be essential in urban environments, and on the highway. The grill is a perfect fit for the stock radiator and offers real protection. It also adds cool, industrial style that complements the CB1000R perfectly.

ALCANTRA MAIN SEAT
The perfect finishing touch to make the CB1000R that extra bit special. Constructed from luxurious Alcantara, the main seat provides an extra level of comfort and seating stability. There’s also an Alcantara pillion seat to match.

HEATED GRIPS
Just because the weather turns doesn’t mean you have to stop riding. For when the temperature gets colder, slim heated grips help keep your hands warm, providing 360° warmth around each grip, with integrated control to manage temperature.
